Crow's FeetBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon in Dallas, TexasCrow's feet are radial lines that run from the outer borders of the eye sockets into the temple area. These become more noticeable when smiling and grimacing. They are caused by attachment of eyelid muscles to skin of this area. With each contraction of muscles these lines become visible, and repeated contractions and changes in the skin make these lines more pronounced with age. Crow's feet are treated with Botox injections administered right into offending muscles. Usually 10-15 units of Botox are needed into each side of face. In case of very deep lines Restylane or Perlane or Radiesse may also need to be injected into crow's feet lines to smoothen out these areas.
